In an exclusive interview with Bundesliga’s officials, Bayern’s president talked about many things. Karl-Heinz talked about Lewandowski, Bayern’s future and Flick himself.
Coach of the Bayern Munich
Rummenigge said that Flick has a very clear plan. Having a clear plan was very important for Bayern. The German giant club always had top-level footballers, so the coach had to create a very solid and clean plan. Heinz said that no one can teach Lenwadowski how to score a goal because he is world-class, but the coach has to work with him on clear-plan on what to achieve. Rummenigge said that Flick is successful because the coach is working hard. Heinz said that Flick creates plan for the week on Monday and he works on it until Saturday. During the weekends, fans and a managerial team can see the results of work-days. Rummenigge said that Flick will continue working with Bayern and they will win new trophies eventually.
Robert Lenwadowski – best striker in the world
Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said that Robert Lewandowski is the best player in the world. He said that Uefa was correct when they gave personal awards to Robert. The Polish striker is on top of the world in the last couple years. Last season, Robert won CHampions League, cup of Germany and Bundesliga. It was a very successful year for Robert indeed. Rummenigge said that he is in very close contact with the president of Fifa. He asked Fifa’s president about the 2020 award. As you may know, Fifa wanted to cancel the personal awards in 2020 due to covid pandemic. Rummenigge said that all the top-tier leagues finished successfully. Also, the Champions League finished successfully and Bayern Munich won it. Rummenigge is happy that Fifa continued voting for best player of 2020. Bayern’s CEO believes that Robert Lewandowski can win Fifa’s best player 2020.
