Keita Balde will continue his career in Italian Serie A. According to Italian media, all the details regarding the transfer of the 25-year-old player have been agreed between the Monegasque club and Sampdoria. So, we should expect his official release in the near future.
Under the agreement, Keita Balde will join the Genoa club on a one-year lease. In exchange for that Sampdoria will pay Monaco one million euros. And, after the end of the 2020/21 season, if desired, the Italian club will have the right to redeem the player for an additional 12 million euros.
I would also like to inform you that the Senegalese football player has spent a large part of his career in Italy. After graduating from Barcelona Football Academy, Keita enrolled in Lazio Academy. There he played in 2013-2017 in the main team of the Roman club.
In 2017, Keita Balde was bought by Monaco for 30 million euros. However, the Senegalese player could not get a foothold in the main squad. So, he spent the 2018/19 season on loan at Inter Milan.
