Frank Ribery returned to Fiorentina’s base in Florence and resumed training. This is a special story for the 37-year-old French midfielder, as he has been injured for five months, and his return was somewhat questionable.

Eleven games, two goals, one dismissal, and a long forced pause – Ribery has not yet been able to do much in Florence. But they still love him very much. He started the season well and has proven several times that he can still show his abilities in Serie A despite his age.
Though, he suffered a severe injury in December, underwent surgery, and said goodbye to football for a long time.
Ribery spent most of his rehabilitation time in Germany, returning to Florence in early May and staying in a 2-week quarantine. And now he is training with his teammates. Fiorentina greeted Ribery with the words: “King Frank is back.”
It is unknown by now, what he will do after leaving the post. As you know, the Italian Football Federation is considering a restart of the championship on June 13. But nothing has been decided yet.
We want to remind you that only Germany has renewed the championship from the leading European football countries. The restart in the Bundesliga took place on May 16, with the 26th round. The next tour starts on Friday, with a Berlin derby.
