Virgil Van Dijk’s recovery process is going well. Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp spoke about it.

Virgil Van Dijk missed much of the season due to injury. The Dutchman received the injury in the “Merseyside Derby” on October 17. Virgil was injured during a fight with Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.

For Liverpool, the 29-year-old central defender has emerged as one of the team’s key players in recent seasons. His absence is a serious problem for the English club as he is not only one of the defensive line but also one of the leaders of the team.

Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp spoke about Van Dijk’s recovery process. The German specialist noted that the Dutchman is in a good mood and his rehabilitation process is going well, although the exact date of the player’s return is still unknown.

“I do not know what is possible and what is not. I do not know if I am a person who can judge it 100 percent, but he looks very good. I talked on the phone, and he is in a very good mood, so it is all hopeful. But when he returns, I do not know. Nevertheless, given the way the rehabilitation process is going, it is really promising,” Klopp said.

Liverpool, coached by the German, has not been doing well lately and is in 4th place with 34 points after 18 games due to lost points in the Premier League.
