Kalidou Koulibaly’s price has dropped significantly. The Senegalese defender may leave Napoli.

Kalidou Koulibaly may leave Napoli at the end of the season. Premier League clubs Manchester City and Liverpool want to add the Senegalese defender. As the Mirror writes, the transfer price of the 29-year-old football player has been reduced a lot, and the interested club can recruit him, in exchange for 65 million Pounds.

The Neapolitan club president, Aurelio de Laurentiis, demanded a minimum payment of 90 million in exchange for Koulibaly last summer.

The main favorite in the fight for Koulibaly is named Manchester City. The head coach of the “Cityzens” is firmly determined to strengthen the defense during the upcoming transfer window. The Senegalese defender is their main target.

So, it is not ruled out that City, winged by the Eurocup ban’s removal, will agree to pay this amount.

According to the Mirror, the Neapolitan club informed the “Cityzens” that if they want to buy Kalidou Koulibaly, they will have to pay at least 65 million, which at today’s exchange rate is around € 82 million.

Kalidou Koulibaly moved to Napoli from Genk in the summer of 2014 for € 7.75 million. The Senegalese defender has scored ten goals and five assists in 240 appearances for the Neapolitan club. Koulibaly won the Italian Cup and the Super Cup with Napoli.
