Chelsea head coach Frank Lampard has spoken about the possible departure of striker Willian from the team.

The 32-year-old Chelsea Brazilian striker, Willian, will most likely continue his career at Arsenal in London. Willian’s contract with Chelsea expires when the club finishes playing in the Champions League.

The Brazilian missed the Association Cup final and is unlikely to help the Champions League quarter-final team against Bayern on Saturday (Chelsea lost their first match 3: 0).

Lampard commented on the possible departure of the Brazilian player:

“Willian is currently our player. He could not play in the FA Cup final due to injury, he will not be able to play against Bayern either, but he did his best to get out on the pitch. At the end of the season, the injury struck.”

“He has been playing here for seven years and has achieved success with the team many times. When I came to coach Chelsea, we started to rearrange, and Willian became the player I relied on in terms of experience and class and repeatedly justified my confidence.”

“If he leaves, I will not get angry, and I will not be disappointed. He has played with me and he has coached me. He is a great player and a man. I do not want anyone to look negative in this situation. The leadership has done everything to keep him. ” – The press service.

Willian has made 439 appearances for Makhachkala at Chelsea since moving to Anzhi Makhachkala. He has won the Premier League with the team, the Europa League, and the players have named the former Shakhtar player as the best of the Chelsea season twice.
