According to the official website of PSG, the left defender, Layvin Kurzawa, has extended his contract with the club. He will stay at PSG for another four years.

 

The 27-year-old has signed a new four-year deal with the French champions and will stay at the club until the summer of 2024. Kurzawa’s contract with Paris Saint-Germain was going to expire on June 30.

Layvin joined PSG from Monaco in 2015 for € 25 million and has scored nine goals in 89 Ligue 1 appearances for the Parisians.

Layvin Kurzawa has won the Ligue 1 four, the French Cup three times and the French League Cup four times with PSG, and the French Super Cup four times.

Recall that the 2019/20 season of the French Ligue 1 has been declared prematurely overdue to the Coronavirus pandemic.

 

The next season of the French championship will start on August 22

According to the country’s professional football league, the 2020/21 season of the French Championship will start on August 22.

The new calendar will be approved at the meeting of the Board of Directors of the League.

The first round matches of the new season will be held on August 22 and 23. So, the break of the season is scheduled for December 23 to January 6. The tournament will end on May 23.
