The Merseysiders have resumed team training at the base after a two-month hiatus. English clubs can train as a team with some restrictions.

 

After a pause caused by the Coronavirus pandemic, the process of coaching teams of English clubs was started by one of the leaders of the first championship, Liverpool.

Jუrgen Klopp’s team returned to training after a two-month hiatus. On Tuesday morning, Jordan Henderson and Virgil Van Dijk, along with others, showed up at the club’s base at Melwood.

On Monday, the English clubs and the league agreed that the teams would start training on their bases in small groups from May 19. The process will be limited – players will have to keep their distance.

Earlier, the British media suggested that the Premier League may e resumed on June 12. But the match without spectators may last a year.

English Premier League clubs have been tested on Coronavirus. A total of 748 people were tested. Among them were both players and other representatives of the club staff.

As it turned out, out of 748 people, six were infected with COVID-19. It is noteworthy that Coronavirus has only covered three clubs at this stage. The identities of the infected are still unknown.

Also noteworthy that the test is not a one-time test. So, players, coaches, or other representatives will be tested twice a week and will be under constant control.

As you know, those players whose answers were positive will have to be in self-isolation for a week.
