Frank Leboeuf has warned his former side Chelsea that Erling Haaland could be a ‘disaster’ amid the Blues interest.

Chelsea seeks to bolster their blunt attacking and the £90m-rated Borussia Dortmund forward looks like the ideal candidate as Leboeuf believes he is a beast.

Notably, Chelsea has struggled upfront despite their recent good run in all competitions. Tuchel has hardly seen a low scoring rate and adding Haaland could boost their title challenge next season.

Although Haaland could be the perfect candidate to end Chelsea’s attacking woes, Leboeuf has warned against signing him. He has admitted that the strike is a beast and wants his former side to think twice before signing the Norwegian.

“Haaland is a beast,” Leboeuf said.

“Of course it would be a plus for Chelsea. But now you have to think financially and economically. And you also have to also think and make sure your dressing room is going to be following the coach,” he continued.

Leboeuf posed several questions on the future of the current Chelsea squad and the impact Haaland will bring. He said Haaland should come with a personality that would gel with his new teammates.

“If you put Haaland (in the team) you lose [Oliver] Giroud,” he said.

“But you might lose [Kai] Havertz, you might lose Werner as well,” he added.

He posed, “What about [Christian] Pulisic? Where are you going to play [Hakim] Ziyech?”

“That is an equation that you have to make sure is going to work and that the results are going to be good for the club.

“You can add talents that are not a problem. But you have to make sure the chemistry works. Otherwise, it is going for disaster. Having only talent doesn’t make sure you are going to win something,” he concluded.

Chelsea will face stiff competition from the likes of both Manchester clubs as United is said to have an upper hand.

However, the sensational forward has poured cold water on his suitor linking him with a summer move.

“I still have three years of contract (at Dortmund),” Haaland said.
