Leeds United have the most law-abiding fans. Last season, law enforcement officers arrested 52 fans of the club.

 

The British media analyzed a document published by the Ministry of Home Affairs and revealed the football clubs whose fans were arrested the most times during the 2019/20 season.

As it turns out, Leeds United fans were most often featured by in football-related arrests last season. A total of 52 such cases were reported. Leeds fans 19 times for disorderly conduct, 15 times for alcohol-related offences, 10 times for disorderly conduct, 3 times for throwing objects at other persons, 2 times for rushing to the square, once for storing weapons, using pyrotechnics Arrested for criminal activities causing harm.

After Leeds fans, law enforcement officers arrested Birmingham City (49), Bolton (45), Aston Villa (31), West Ham United (30), Manchester City (29) and Cardiff (27) fans the most times.

In general, the number of fan arrests in England has decreased from 1381 to 1089 compared to the 2018/19 season. However, the coronavirus pandemic factor should be taken into account. Due to that a large part of the matches in the 2019/20 season were held without spectators in the stands.

On the other hand, there is a noticeable increase in criminal activity from year to year among Leeds fans. For example, in the 2018/19 season, 49 fans of this club were arrested. Already in the next season, as mentioned above, three more facts were recorded.
