Not much is known about Liverpool’s transfer plans. Football legends talked about the transfer policy of the club. Liverpool will need a replacement for Dejan Lovren.

Chelsea and Manchester City have already strengthened. Manchester United also have big plans. They are going to recruit Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund. There is still silence around Liverpool’s transfer policy.

There only was written about Thiago Alcantara, though the club has not officially confirmed anything yet. In an interview with the BBC, Liverpool legends Gary Gillespie, John Barnes, and Emile Heskey spoke about the club’s possible plans.

The departure of Dejan Lovren from the club was assessed by Gary Gillespie, who himself was a central defender. “Phillips, Van den Berg, and Hoever – these guys are inexperienced yet. They can’t fill Lovren’s place. I think the club needs a central defender.”

“I also think Klopp needs a left-back to insure Andrew Robertson. Everyone on the team is resting, except Robertson. He plays too much. If he plays another season like that, he will get tired.” – says the Scotsman.

There have also been replacements in midfield, with Adam Lallana leaving the club promising young Curtis Jones to move to the first team next year. Xherdan Shaqiri is also expected to leave the team.

It is unknown yet what he will do after leaving the post. The team has young attacker Harvey Elliott, as well as Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita, who can create better than play behind like Henderson and Fabinho.

“Klopp probably needs another midfielder moving back and forth like Wijnaldum. Another creative player is messing with the team play in the center.” – Says John Barnes.

Nothing has changed in the attacking line, and Emile Heskey does not see the need for that. – says Heskey.
