Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp has been named the Premier League’s manager of the year for the season and has been given Sir Alex Ferguson Award. Klopp commented on the fact and said that he is crazy about Ferguson.

After receiving the award, Klopp commented and praised former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

“I am delighted to have been named the best coach of the season, and this wonderful award named after Alex Ferguson has given to me. Ferguson is the person I’m crazy about.

I understand the Liverpool coach should not say that, but I’m crazy about him. He was the first British coach I met, and we had lunch together. It was long ago. So, I do not know if he remembers it or not. But I will remember that day forever because then I felt as if I had met the Pope.

I could not have imagined that I would ever receive an award named after him. The votes are given by my colleagues, the coaches of other clubs, that’s why this award is unique. ” Klopp said.

The club, coached by the 53-year-old German specialist, had an impressive season and finished first in the standings with 99 points. As a result, after a 30-year hiatus, Liverpool became champions of the English Premier League and won the title of the best in the history of the club for the nineteenth time.

Jurgen Klopp took charge of Liverpool in 2015, and last season, along with Merseyside, became the winner of the UCL, Super Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup.
