Klopp has repeatedly ruled out the possibility of replicating Arsenal’s Invincible. But, the comparisons are inevitable when Liverpool continues to produce performances and results of such a relentless high level.

Liverpool is averaging more points per game than the Invincibles. They are scoring more goals and conceding fewer.
The Reds hopes of replicating Arsenal’s 49-game unbeaten run rest on the next 12 games. However, and even in this kind of form, it will not be straight forward.
Liverpool is away to Mourinho’s Tottenham in their next game. After that, they will host Manchester United before the awkward trips to Wolves and West Ham United.
There is the slight matter of a Merseyside derby against resurgent Everton in March. And even, if they make it through the next 11 games without losing, they will need to avoid defeat against Manchester City in April.
The Premier League title may be already theirs if they run continues for that long. But only then will they consider the possibility of going the entire season without defeat.

What can possibly stop them?

Of course, plenty could go wrong between now and then. At the moment, the Reds are coping without Chamberlain, Lovren and Matip because of injuries. They lost Naby Keita in the warm-up at Anfield too. But the question is, would they manage if Virgil Van Dijk was ruled out?
Trent Alexander-Arnold and Robertson are similarly important as none of Liverpool’s back-up full-backs are able to replicate their creativity.
The newly recruited, Takumi Minamino will provide greater depth in attack. But an injury to anyone of their front three could be problematic.
There is no let-up to Liverpool’s schedule either. With Champions League and FA Cup commitments to come, fatigue is likely to become more of an issue as the season progresses.
Additionally, a lot may also depend on how Liverpool players will cope with the mounting pressure.
If games are drawn and points dropped, how are they to respond? Recent evidence suggests there is no mental frailty in Liverpool. But it is a factor to consider as they seek to continue their unbeaten run and send more records tumbling.
