Luis Suarez was very important while playing against Chile. Uruguay won the first round match against Chile 2-1.

Luis Suarez started the match from the very first minute. His main partner in the attacking line was Gomez. Fede Valverder was in control of deep midfield along with Bentancur. Starting line-up was optimal for Oscar Tabarez.
