Luka Modric said that Real Madrid will try to attack more. Croatian noted that the team is not going to play big defense because they want to score more. Luka believes that Real Madrid has an advantage and they have to take it as a strength. Modric noted that Real Madrid has an ideal attacking line and they can score many goals.
Physical conditions
Real Madrid’s midfielder said that physically it’s very tough to play at this level. He noted that playing every three days is very hard for every player. At the same time, when Real Madrid players see big results, they want to run, play and score more. Luka Modric said that Real Madrid players are tired obviously and they will try to recover in every possible way. The midfielder admitted that playing against Liverpool (twice) and Barcelona in just seven days period is the hardest thing but they are capable of it.
Luka’s opinion on injuries
Journalists asked Luka about the injuries and how the team managerial board deals with those cases. Luka Modric said that no one is happy with the injuries. He noted that getting injured is easy in these times. Keep in mind that Real Madrid is playing every three days and they can’t recover properly. After a big streak of downgrade with the injuries, Luka said that the same players have to play more and more which leads to serious physical injuries. The same scenario happened with Lucas Vazquez. Luka Modric said that Lucas will be fit and ok at the end of the season but he will miss too much before that. Modric noted that Lucas will be ok in the end but he is a big power in the defensive line. They have to work twice harder to fill the gap of Lucas’ absence.
