Manchester United left-back Luke Shaw has been connected with an unexpected move far from Old Trafford.

Shaw moved to the Red Devils in 2014 for £30 million, yet his spell at the club has hardly gone good, having made only 49 appearances of which 32 were in the Premier League over his three at the club.

Having to suffer unfortunate injuries, an absence of form and a lack of trust from Jose Mourinho has seen the Southampton youth not get any playing time lately.

Shaw has just barely come back from injury this season, developing his wellness with the United saves previously showing up in the Carabao Cup.

What’s more, with Ashley Young and Daley Blind in front of him at United, he may very much need to search somewhere else for first-team football.

Luke Shaw to fenerbahçe

Turkish mammoths Fenerbahce, who have former Manchester United man Robin van Persie and Spurs flop Roberto Soldado and Vincent Janssen in their positions, are vigilant for another left-back and have supposedly recognised the out-of-support 22-year old as a choice.

According to Turkish daily paper Fanatik, through Football365, are stating that Fener has just entered arrangements with United over Shaw, with a January transfer move possibly on the cards.

Luke Shaw to Spurs

As of late, Shaw talked up the likelihood of playing under the previous manager Mauricio Pochettino sooner or later at what’s to come. In another book being brought out by writer Guillem Balague, titled ‘

Overcome New World: Inside Pochettino’s Spurs’, as cited by the Daily Mail

“He used to call me his son, ‘That’s how good our relationship was. I’ve had lots of ups and downs, but when I was with Pochettino it was only ever up, up, up.

“He made me feel that I was the best. He’d show me clips of my games and say, ‘You could do this better’. Not in a horrible way. Not I could have done better, but I should have done better, because he knows I can be better.

“I think with Southampton he achieved the impossible. We were one of the best footballing teams in the league… I do hope that I can play for him again one day. And I think he really wants me to play under him again.”
