On Tuesday evening, Manchester City won the match against West Ham. The London team could not even attack correctly against City and conceded two goals.

 

Pre-match preparation

Manchester City has severe problems with Uefa. As you may know, the team was banned from the Champions League for the next two seasons. Pep Guardiola noted that he will be professional and won’t leave the team during the hard times.

Pep Guardiola is criticized from different sides. Experts believe that the Spanish coach has missed many chances this season, and that’s why the team is not in good shape. There is a 22 point gap between Manchester City and Liverpool. Pep said that he would stay in Manchester for many years unless management decides to sack him from a coaching position.

Match against West Ham

Due to bad weather, Manchester City could not play against West Ham on Sunday evening. The match was postponed on Tuesday night, and it has not helped the London club.

Pep Guardiola played with Gabriel Jesus and Aguero in the attacking line. Along with two central strikers, Pep decided to play with Bernardo Silva as a winger. Manchester City was playing with De Bruyne and David Silva in midfield.

The City scored the first goal in the first half of the match. After the assistance from Kevin De Bruyne, Rodri was able to convert the shot. Spanish midfielder scored an easy target and gave a lead to Pep’s team. Nothing much happened in the first half as the team was controlling the ball.

In the second half, Manchester City started with sharp attacks. It was visible that Pep wanted to score the second goal and have an easy end of the match. After a few intense attacks, City could score the second goal. After the creative combination of Bernardo and Kevin De Bruyne, the Belgian player scored the goal. The City straightforwardly won the match, and now the difference between the leader and City is 22 points.
