Manchester 0: 1 Arsenal – Aubameyang (69’ Pen). The Gunners won at Old Trafford for the first time since 2006.

In the central match of the 7th round of the English Premier League, Manchester United hosted Arsenal in London and suffered another defeat. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang brought the victory for Mikel Arteta’s team.

The Gabonese forward from London jumped from the penalty spot of the opponent in the 69th minute and brought the most important victory to the “Gunners”. Interestingly, Arsenal won the away game against the teams of the Big Six of the EPL for the 1st time since Jan 2015, when they beat Manchester City 2: 0. During this period Arsenal played 29 unbeaten games away from the Big Six (10 draws, 19 losses).

Manchester have a terrible start in the Premier League and have won none of their first four games at Old Trafford since the 1972/73 season. Then the “Red Devils” came out in 18th place.

In addition, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team has had the worst start since the 2013/14 season, when the team was coached by David Moyes – only 7 points in 6 games (Manchester United have played less). Another interesting detail is that Arsenal won the Premier League at Old Trafford for the first time since September 2006 and ended a 13-match unbeaten streak at the Theater of Dreams (8 draws, 5 losses).

London Arsenal are 8th in the tournament table with 13 points, while Manchester has 7 points and is in 15th place.
