Manchester United won the match against PSG. It was a dramatic clash in Paris and both teams tried hard for three points.
Pre-match preparations
Manchester United had an awful Premier League match just a week ago. Team lost the home match against Tottenham. Jose Mourinho’s club scored six goals and MU fans went crazy. Twitter exploded with the hashtags related to Ole’s departure. Ole is still the manager of the team and he will stay as the main coach by the end of the season. MU played a really solid match against PSG.
1st half of the match
Manchester had problems with the defense. Maguaire could not start the game, so Ole had to improvise. Tuanzebe and Lindelof were playing together in the center defense. Bissaka and Shaw were playing as the left and right backs. Ole benched Pogba also which was very confusing for Manchester fans. PSG started with a very strong attacking line. Mbappe, Neymar and Di Maria were playing from the start.
In the first half, MU was playing better than PSG. The Parisian team was a host but without fans, the team can’t have a solid performance. In the middle of the half, MU scored the goal. Referee pointed to the penalty spot and Bruno Fernandes took the ball. Bruno Fernandes converted the shot into the penalty.
2nd half of the match
PSG started the second half aggressively in the attacking line. Keane entered the pitch and the attacking trio had a center forward for crosses. There were many moments from MBappe and Neymar but they could not score. Unfortunately to Manchester United fans, PSG could score the equalizer. Let’s be more specific – MU scored their own goal. Anthony Martial scored the header but it was an own goal. After the equalizer, PSG went for another goal but in just a few minutes they were calm.
Ole decided to give a chance to Paul Pogba. That’s when Manchester’s attacks changed and took a shape. Soon after Pogba’s counter attacks, Rashford scored the screamer. Manchester United scored the goal and won a very important match.
