Sadio Mane has just recovered from his hamstring injury and returned to help the team against Norwich. The 27-Years-Old forward made an immediate influence as soon as he reached his hundredth goal after he was introduced off the bench.

You may already know that Mane had been sidelined since the 23rd of January. Jurgen Klopp eased the Senegal forward back into in a PL meeting against Norwich.

Klopp did not want to take an unnecessary risk with Mane’s health. But he needed Mane’s help very much. So Liverpool’s coach decided to introduce the Senegal forward on the hour mark against Norwich.

Only Mane could break Norwich’s deadlock

Before Mane’s introduction, Liverpool could not break the defenders’ deadlock of the Canaries.  But Mane managed to make this mark in less than 18 minutes.

His high-class hit helped Liverpool to get their 25th victory from 26 outings this term. In that match, Mane netted his 100th goal (75 of them he scored for Liverpool, and 25- for Southampton).

Noteworthy, that he netted those 75 goals for the Reds in only 155 appearances. His impressive play always gives an additional effect to Liverpool’s performance.

Sadio Mane joined Liverpool in June 2016 from Southampton, for a £34 million deal. Since then, Mane has kept rising. Across the last season, he managed to score 26 goals. Twenty-two of these goals were netted in PL.

In the current season, he has already scored 16 goals. And now, with his impressive return and the opener against the Canaries, Mane helped Liverpool once again on their way to Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and Club World Cup.

As for PL title, Liverpool are having now 25 points ahead.
