Real Madrid players, Marcelo and Lucas Vazquez are back on the training ground. Keep in mind that players were absent for five weeks. Each of them had different reasons for absence.

Real Madrid needs attacking players

It’s not a surprise that Real Madrid’s attack suffers a lot when Marcelo is not playing. Brazilian player is playing defense on the left-wing, but every big attack of Real Madrid depends on him. Marcelo is playing for Real Madrid for the last fourteen years. During those years, the Brazilian defender became the main person for Los Blanco’s attacks.

Reason of injuries

Marcelo got the thigh injury in November. Since then, Marcelo can’t help his team. Los Merengues had serious matches in December, and both players could not offer their help. Along with Marcelo and Vazquez, Eden Hazard is also absent because of a leg injury.

Lucas Vazquez and issues in the gym

Zidane is counting on Spanish midfielder a lot. The right-winger was playing a good season until November. French coach gave him a chance to play from starting line-up for seven times in two months of La Liga. Lucas Vazquez was a significant player onto the left-wing while Asensio had a year-long injury. Unfortunately to Los Blancos fans, Lucas got the injury off the field. When the Spanish player was training in the gym, he dropped the equipment on his foot. It was excruciating as teammates confirm.

January starts with good news for Real Madrid

Along with Marcelo and Lucas Vazquez, Eden Hazard will be fit for matches in January. Marcelo and Lucas are already 100% for the next games of Los Blancos. Both players may be seen in the starting line-up of Los Merengues on 4th January against Getafe.
As for Eden Hazard, the Belgian player is training in the gym and will work on the pitch next week. Los Blancos needs help from attacking players like Lucas and Eden Hazard. January will be tough for Los Merengues as they have to face big teams in La Liga and SuperCopa of Spain.
