Neymar’s transfer

On the other side of the story, Barcelona transfer for Neymar could be off after the two strikers sustained injuries. Neymar suspended in the first three games of the season’s competition and also left out of Paris St-Germain squad for the second week running.

The transfer deadline for the European clubs is on September 2 and both Spanish clubs, Barcelona and Real Madrid are keen to sign Neymar before the transfer window shuts.

Both Barcelona and Real Madrid have witnessed multiple bids knocked back by PSG so far this summer. Neither of the two is losing hope.

Neymar is desperate to leave PSG this summer, two years after he left Barcelona for Paris. The Brazilian superstar wants to return to Barcelona. However, Parisians are unwilling to let him return, due to the tensions between the two clubs.

An ESPN FC reporter Gab Marcotti believes there is still a chance for Neymar to be forced to stay at the club due to the squad state. “This puts the whole Neymar situation in a different light,’ he said.

Thomas Tuchel also said,” If Neymar’s going to go, he needs other guys in. The clock is ticking, and it’s even more now.” “There is a lot of work for Leonardo and Nasser in the last few hours of the transfer window. “Neymar’s situation is clear; he is doing everything in his powers to leave. But it’s really difficult to do the deal.”
