Former Manchester City player Trevor Sinclair has made an announcement on the extension of the contract of the “City” head coach Pep Guardiola. He also mentioned about Messi’s possible move to the club.

“I think every City fan is excited about this news. Pep has not only won titles. 100 points and a win in the Premier League three times in a row … ‘Incredibly good at Manchester City.’

“In my opinion, Messi’s transfer is inevitable. I don’t see any other way out. I see how the club I support, and the Champions League is signing a contract with the best player in the world. So, I do not see it any other way”.

“Leo is young enough to return to Argentina. I don’t think there is any other club where there is a coach under whose leadership Messi feels comfortable.”

“I feel like it’s going to happen … I’m looking forward to it!” Sinclair was quoted as saying by TalkSport.

According to the information spread so far, the “townspeople” are preparing an offer for the captain of “Barcelona”.

Messi wanted to leave Barça last summer, and it was City who were named the top favourites in the fight for the Argentine.

Koeman makes a statement about Messi’s possible transfer

Barcelona head coach Ronald Koeman has said he does not want to discuss the possible transfer of striker Lionel Messi to Manchester City.

“Messi and City? I do not see him at any other club, and I will not answer these questions,” Marca quoted the Dutch specialist as saying.

“Leo’s current contract with Barcelona is for another year. This is Leo’s future. So, I hope he will be here. But I am not the person who will force Leo to stay.”

“Let’s see what happens in the future, he is currently a Barcelona player,” added Koeman.
