Florian Thauvin, the French midfielder of Marseille will leave the club as a free agent in the summer.

The 27-year-old has a current contract with Olympique until the end of the season and has no plans to extend it.

It is noteworthy that recently, the interest in the player was confirmed by the sporting director of Milan, Paolo Maldini.

“Thauvin’s contract expires in the summer, so he is an interesting player from an economic point of view.

“Given his age, Florian is not among the players we have added over the last two years, although the right combination for the team is with young and relatively experienced players,” Maldini added.

As Football-Italia writes, “Rossoneri” has agreed on a four-year contract with Thauvin. The annual salary of the French midfielder will be 3 million euros.

Florian Thauvin moved to Marseille from Newcastle in the summer of 2017 for 11 million euros. In 250 appearances for the Olympics, Thauvin scored 81 goals and 56 assists.
