Ralf Rangnick commented on the reports. He will be appointed Rossoneri’s head coach and sports director. The decision will most likely be announced at the end of the season.

Ralf Rangnick has denied rumors that he has been appointed head coach and sporting director of AC Milan. The Guardian and Sky wrote about it. The 62-year-old German coach said he had not decided anything yet.

As you know, the fate of the German and Italian media has long been linked to Milan. Earlier this week, it was reported that ‘Professor Ralf’s’ appointment to Rossoneri had been decided and that he would have to replace Stefano Pioli. Sky Italia wrote that Paolo Maldini would become Milan’s technical director.

“Nothing has been decided yet.” – That’s how Rangnik responded to Sport1. The club also rejected the agreement with him. According to German media, most likely, the parties do not want to announce the agreement yet. As the Italian championship continues, Milan is fighting for a trip to the European League, and the team may be hindered by the announcement of the appointment of the rankings. Gazzetta Dello Sport writes that it has already been decided to appoint Rangnick two simultaneous positions in Milan. Still, it will be officially confirmed only after the end of the season.

Recall that about the agreement between Rangnik and Milan was also actively reported in March. Then Rossoneri sporting director Zvonimir Boban publicly criticized the idea of bringing Ralf to the team, which is why Boban was fired. This fact convinced everyone that the German’s appointment was real. Paolo Maldini, who announced in May that the German would demand full power, also criticized Rangnick.
