‘I felt like I was leaving the team in the middle of the process, but what happened happened’. The Portuguese specialist recalled the period spent at United.

Famous Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho recalled the period when he was coaching Manchester United. According to the Portuguese specialist, he would have had much better results in the ranks of the English Grand Prix if he had been given enough time to work.

“At some point in my career, I did not need much time to achieve good results when I came to different teams. This was the case at Porto, Inter, Real Madrid and twice – at Chelsea. In a short time, everything went as planned. At the same time, I was constantly wanting something new. I wanted to travel to different countries, win there and gain new experiences. It was an ideal option: victory, farewell and the search for something new. The first club where I realized I needed more time was Manchester United. However, he was not given to me. I felt like I was leaving the team in the middle of the process, but I always respected the decisions of others, and that was the case even then. What happened happened. I did my best, and now, I’m moving forward again. We do not separate badly from each other, and I maintain an excellent relationship with Manchester. In principle, I can say the same about my other previous clubs, and I am very proud of that. ”

Recall that 57-year-old Mourinho trained with Manchester United in 2016-18 and won the Europa League, English Super Cup and League Cup, however, he was sacked before his contract expired when he had the following figures: 144 games, 84 wins, 32 draws, 28 losses. Jose is currently the head coach of Tottenham Hotspur in London.
