Juventus suffered a shocking defeat away at Napoli. It was such a massive failure for Bianconeri. Sarri’s former club was brilliant last night.

Juve surprisingly found it hard to create chances, even though Ronaldo, Dybala, and Higuain were all starting. All of these three seemed to be in good shape, and the midfield also was balanced enough. But something bland happened to the whole team.

Accordingly, through their last night’s win, Sarri’s former club moved into the top half.

The deadlock was broken at 63rd min of the match when after creating several dangerous moments on the opponents’ half, Piotr Zielinski scored a beautiful goal.

It should be noted that Maurizio Sarri brought Zielinski to Napoli during his coaching period at the club.

Lorenzo Insigne scored the second goal against Bianconeri. He hooked the ball on the home side when four mins were left before the end of the game.

It took more than an hour to the Old Lady to manage a shot. But Cristiano Ronaldo still managed to score at the 90th minute. Accordingly, he continued his scoring run as it was his eighth visiting league game in a row where he scored. That consolation makes him the first Juve player.

Gennaro Gattuso brings Solidity to Napoli

In 2017-2018 season, Sarri led Napoli to the 2nd place. Now he was jeered by the Napoli fans. It was his first back game to his former club since he left it in 2018.

Napoli have struggled since Sarri left the club. At the same time, Juve currently occupy their regular spot at the head of the Serie A table as they battle with Antonio Conte’s second-placed Inter to be crowned as champions of Italy.

Now Napoli is managed by Gennaro Gattuso. They enjoyed an admirable victory over the Italian champions. But still, the Turin-based club are at the top of Serie A after an only second defeat in this season.
