Pavel Nedved has boldly argued that Pirlo and Ronaldo will remain in Juve as speculation continues to rage at Turin about the respective future of the two eminent figures.

Cristiano and Pirlo might leave?

The Bianconeri suffered a humble fall from grace in 2020-21, with the Serie A title ripped from their grasp by the Inter arch-rivals to leave them clawing around for the finishing four. Such struggles have led to inevitable questions about Andrea Pirlo’s continued presence in demanding management positions, while there have also been speculations that five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo may move on without honoring the last year of his contract. Vice President Pavel Nedved was keen to close this gossip by saying that Andrea Pirlo and Cristiano will remain in Juve.

There is information that Juve has no plans to make changes to its dugout before the end of the season. This means that Andrea will be given the chance to complete the Champions League qualification and eventual glory for Coppa Italia. However, when it comes to bringing in a new boss for 2021-22, various options are being discussed, and Massimiliano Allegri sees a return to the Allianz Stadium. Cristiano, meanwhile, is approaching the final 12 months of its current deal. The iconic Portuguese striker is now 36 years old and has failed to achieve the European success he drafted from Real to help achieve. He saw a return to Spain being discussed while there was also talk of a second period at Man Utd or a move to MLS in America.

Will fight to the end

So far, Cristiano and Andrea are focused on helping Juventus end the testing season as positively as possible. They slipped down to fifth in the Serie A standings but still have three league games left to host and the final of Copa Italia’s departure against Atalanta on 19 May. Pavel added to Juventus’s efforts from now on that there are some difficulties, but they will fight to the end. The Bianconeri will return to action on Wednesday away at Sassuolo, having previously played host to the newly dedicated Inter champions on Saturday.
