Neymar Jr. has signed a new contract that will see him stay at the Parisian capital club till 2025.

Neymar signs a new deal that ends the Brazilian future speculations that he on his way back to Spain. Signing the contract, he insists that he is happy to be part of the club’s history.

“I’m really pleased to continue my adventure at Paris Saint-Germain,” Neymar Jr. said.

“I’m very happy in Paris, and proud to be part of this squad. To work with these players, a great coach, and be part of the history of this club,” he added.

Neymar remains the most expensive player joining PSG in 2017 from Barcelona for a fee of 222 million euros. However, the 29-year-old claims he has grown in all perspectives since joining the Parisian club.

“I have grown as a person here, as a human being, and as a player, too. So I am very happy to extend my contract and I hope to win many more trophies here,” Neymar claimed.

Neymar’s future had attracted lots of speculations that he was on his way out, with a return to Spain. However, the new contract news has silenced all the claims.

Notably, the former Barcelona star had a difficult relationship with Parisian fans after expressing his desire for a transfer in 2019. But he has admitted that things happened in the past and he is now happy after signing the deal.

“Things have happened that should not have happened,” Neymar admitted.

‘We had fights, a few sad times, but I am happy and proud to be part of the history of Paris St-Germain,” he added.

And PSG has produced phenomenal numbers in his new deal that should keep Neymar happy for a while.

On the other hand, PSG Coach Mauricio Pochettino reveals everyone is happy that the Brazilian has signed a new contract.

“Everyone in the PSG family is happy that a player of Neymar’s talent has extended his contract,” Pochettino revealed.
