Former Paris Saint-Germain winger Ludovic Giuly claims Neymar Jr. “has everything” but he doesn’t give “everything to be even higher.”

The former PSG and Barcelona winger has likened the PSG superstar with his fellow Brazilian Ronaldinho. He says both have “everything” but doesn’t give their all to be the superstars they should be.

The 44-year-old Frenchman made this bold comparison between Neymar and Ronaldinho, “I’m going to compare Ronaldinho and Neymar on a career level. They have everything, but they don’t give everything to be even higher.”

Neymar got a red card in PSG home defeat to Lille after losing his temper for A challenge on Tiago Dialo. Reports claim that the Brazilian continued their battle with Dialo with an altercation in the tunnel.

World football considers Neymar Jr. one of the best players, but the 29-year-old has not reached the level tipped to reach. Giuly feels the Brazilian winger has to give everything to be that star.

It is understood that Neymar has put a hold on talks over his contract amid a surprise Barcelona return. According to Giuly, he hopes Neymar will stay at PSG.

He says that a new deal would show his “love and commitment to the club.”

“Of course, that is an important message for us, for his teammates, and for the supporters. He shows his love and commitment to the club. It is something very important,” the former France international said.

Meanwhile, Angel Di Maria has revealed that it would be “wonderful” to play with  Lionel Messi at Paris Saint-Germain. Reports claim Messi could be on his way out with the Parisian side favorite to sign him.

“From my whole career, from everything I’ve seen, I think Leo is from another planet. (…) To have him as a team-mate would be wonderful,” Di Maria said.

“But he is a Barcelona player, he has a contract. After that, we’ll see. I talk a lot with him and I always tell him that the important thing is his happiness and that of his family. It’s hard to say anything else,” Di Maria added.
