The prospect of selling a stellar player doesn’t scare Norwich sporting director ahead of a return to the Premier League. Stuart Webber says that the team is ready for everything in summer.

This team is not about one or two players

Todd Cantwell is another of the canaries’ valuable assets that have been linked to relocation and deals can be made during the summer transfer window. Those on Carrow Road will not stand in the way of any player who receives a suitable offer from the club off-scale, with the possibility that leading parties across Europe can launch raids on Norfolk. Stuart Webber said that Norwich sanctioned big money for Ben Godfrey and James Maddison in the not too distant past, that it might be the end of the road for some of them, it might be a club that goes off the charts. Some of them may go, maybe two or all three of them will go, who knows, but the facts are that this team is not about one or two players. Stuart says that for them to be successful in the Premier League it will be like a squad of 20, and not if one player is performing brilliantly.

Would they want to offer him a new contract?

Norwich rebounded at a great time for the first time, having been eliminated from the Premier League in 2019-20, and Daniel Farke should be rewarded for leading the club to a second promotion with a new contract offer. Stuart Webber added to the German coach, who is approaching the final 12 months of his current deal, that it is clear from Daniel’s point of view that they will want to offer him a new contract, and he made indications that of course he loves him here and would like to stay.
