Manchester United has not won any trophy since 2017 and the long wait is starting to increase pressure at Old Trafford.

So, far Manchester United has spent £250m on places since Solskjaer permanently took over the job in March 2019. The total spending includes last season moves for captain Harry Maguire, Bruno Fernandes and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

During this season’s transfer window, Donny van de Beek arrived in September followed by Edinson Cavani who is the latest high-profile signing at Old Trafford. The club completed the deal for the former Paris St-Germain striker as well as the Brazil left-back, Alex Telles on deadline day.

“Ole will have been in the job for two years this coming December. I’ve long maintained that he needs support. But, he has now brought in a lot of players which he’s sanctioned. He didn’t get Jadon Sancho and I understand the reasons why. £108m is way too much in this current environment”.

“United has conceded 11 goals in the first three Premier League games. It’s been a really turbulent start to the season and I think everybody’s got to take some part of the blame for that. The players and the manager as well. Ole’s got to deliver now. He’s got to deliver trophies”.

“Ole’s Man Utd honeymoon is Over”

“I think Ole will probably have to get his hands on a trophy. The honeymoon period is certainly over”. Said Keane who believes Solskjaer has a lot to do at the club.

“The pressure starts to mount now, particularly with performances they have had at the beginning of the campaign”.
