Pep side Manchester City lost 0-2 in the Manchester Derby after winning 21 games consecutive in all competitions.

Pep has revealed that City is ready to burry Sunday loss and bounce back to winning ways, and determined to return to winning ways.

“A mix of disappointment and sadness but, at the same time, the second day a bit better and today completely on fire to try to do a good game tomorrow,” Guardiola said on Tuesday.

“It’s a normal process when you lose the games. The reaction is common,” he added.

The Citizens are 11 points ahead in the English Premier League table. They are on brink of winning their third Premier League title in four seasons.

Despite such a lead, Guardiola said there is still work to do.

“When the option is open everything can happen in football. Nobody thought we could win 21 in a row. Anything can happen. United can do it,” Pep said.

Guardiola hinted that Phil Foden and Sergio Aguero could return to starting at the Etihad on Wednesday.

“Maybe, I will decide tomorrow. I have an idea in general of the guys who will play but I have a few doubts.”

Guardiola did also confirm that Manchester City has no injury concern and are ready to roar again.

“No, everybody is OK,” he responded when asked about injuries.

According to the city manager, the race is still on and they need to win six to seven games to be champions.

“We have 10 games left and we have to win six or seven games to be champions mathematically. We’re going to try to win the first one tomorrow,” Pep said ahead of the Southampton clash at Etihad.
