Chelsea need money, and one of the options is to sell the midfielder. Arsenal want Jorginho, Inter and Manchester United want Kante.
Chelsea were one of the most active in the transfer market this summer. The Londoners added several important talents – Timo Werner, Kai Havertz, and Hakim Ziyech joined Lampard’s team. Chelsea have spent more than 200 million on these transfers and are now keen to sell players or get back some of the money.
One of the positions where Chelsea players can be sold is as a supporting midfielder. Kovacic is playing steadily, while Kante and Jorginho have to share one position.
Jorginho’s importance in Lampard’s team is decreasing more and more. Arsenal are interested in him. The second option is to go to N’Golo Kante. Kante is playing very well, although he has a very high salary (1.2 million per month), and as he gets older, from a business perspective, selling him might be the right idea.
According to the “Mirror,” Chelsea will sell Kante only if they accept a financially favorable offer. The addition of the French striker has long been wanted by Inter Milan, whose head coachis a big fan of him. However, the clubs do not have a good relationship with each other because of the Conte factor.
The second option is Manchester United, which has an unusually passive transfer campaign and needs strengthening in the defensive phase.
