PSG need a replacement for Thiago Silva. So, the Parisians want to add a Cameroonian defender, Joel Matip from Liverpool.

After the end of the Champions League’s current season, the Brazilian defender, Thiago Silva, will leave Paris Saint-Germain. So, the veteran player enjoys the status of a free agent.

As the Cameroonian edition, kick442.com writes, Paris Saint-Germain want to sign Liverpool defender Joel Matip. PSG head coach Thomas Tuchel likes the Cameroonian defender very much and wants to see the 29-year-old in his team from the new season.

As for Joel Matip, the Cameroonian moved to Liverpool from Schalke in the summer of 2016, as a free agent. In 111 appearances for the Merseyside club, the player has scored five goals and one assist. Matip managed to win the UEFA Champions League, the English Premier League, the European Super Cup and the Club World Cup with Liverpool.
