Stefano Pioli has received a huge boost ahead of Thursday’s Europa League clash with Manchester United at San Siro.

Pioli confirms that his tallish man Zlatan Ibrahimovic is available ahead of AC Milan’s Europa League last-16 final. The Rossoneri coach, who also confirmed the return of some key players, talk of his sides Journey to the last 16.

“We have gone through many stages to make it here now we want to win. That will be very difficult because they are very strong. We need quality and personality,” the coach revealed.

“Ibrahimovic and Bennacer are available. I am happy to have them back,” Pioli confirmed.

“Calabria, Rebic, Leao, and Romagnoli, the next few hours will decide, along with the morning tomorrow. Ibra will play, not for 90′ but he’s very important to us,” he continued.

Pioli admitted that the return of Ibra and Kjaer improves their squad’s personality.

“The arrival of Ibra and Kjaer has improved the squad from a personality perspective. With them, we’ve grown a lot,” he admitted.

He added, “The first leg result does not impact our gameplan, it is still a dangerous position.”

“In August, everyone would have signed to be in second place in the league and the round of 16 in the Europa League at this point in the season. But we cannot be satisfied. We have raised expectations; we have shown we can achieve certain objectives,” he concluded.

Meanwhile, Manchester United has also received some boosts to their squad as the Red Devils expecting Paul Pogba to return.

The Red Devils coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has seen the return of Pogba, who has missed several games. He is also glad to receive David De Gea, who has completed his quarantine after returning from Spain on family leave.

United are heading to San Siro with a difficult task after conceding a last-minute goal that led to a 1-1 draw. Solskjaer will be looking to score goals if they are to qualify for the next round.
