Juventus suffers Serie A heavy defeat to rivals AC Milan and a blow in their bid for next season’s European football. The Bianconeri crushed to a 3-0 home defeat in what Pirlo expected to be a top-four boost.

Even after the heavy defeat, Pirlo revealed he has no intends to resign. He insists he took the job with much enthusiasm and he is determined to continue with his job.

“No, I took this job with much enthusiasm. My job continues, I remain at the club’s disposal,” Pirlo replied.

However, the Italian added that he can do better despite the difficult moments, “I think I can do better than this.”

“This is a difficult moment, but we need to look forward. Sure, a lot of things didn’t go the way I expected,” he admitted.

Despite AC Milan crushing Pirlo’s side 3-0, the former midfielder Pirlo reveals he was working on some principles that in a way it didn’t work. Despite that, the former midfielder insists Juve needs to pull themselves from such a mess.

“I worked on some principles, but then I had to adapt myself. We will need to get out of this situation,” Pirlo revealed.

However, Pirlo insists does not reflect all-week match build-up. He says it contradicts his team build-up spirit since they were in a good shape.

“During the week, I saw the team in good shape. We trained with concentration and dedication. I saw a side alive and determined to make a great game,” Pirlo insisted.

“It was not the case unfortunately and it’s difficult to explain it now. If you lose such an important game by 3-0, then there’s many components that didn’t go well,” he added

“It means a lot of things didn’t work,” he concluded.
