Former Old Trafford favorite, Kanchelskis urges United to cash in and let Pogba move onto new pastures if he’s completely unhappy in his current environment.
The Frenchman, Paul Pogba became the most expensive signing in United’s history when he returned to Old Trafford from Juventus in the 2019 summer. Ever since he has scored 33 goals in 172 appearances and provided 35 assists. However, niggling fitness issues have prevented the midfielder from fulfilling his full potential at the club.
Continually, he has also been lined with a move away from United and has done little to silence any speculations whenever questioned on his future by the media.
Real Madrid has been mooted as the most likely next destination for the Frenchman who earlier on had admitted that the switch to Santiago Bernabeu would be a “dream”.
According to former Manchester United favorite, Kanchelskis, he sees no reason for the 27-year-old to stick around if he’s not happy at Old Trafford. Kanchelskis has gone further to urge United to cash him out and that they would do well to distance themselves from the midfielder.
“Pogba is always talking about leaving Manchester United. So, for me, it would be better if you just left”. Said Kanchelskis.
“If every time you say ‘I don’t like this, I don’t like that, I want to leave’ then just leave. Go. Leave. No problem”.
“Of course, Raiola is a huge problem. He’s always saying that Pogba is not happy at Manchester United. If you want to come and play for United, you need to open your heart, play 100%. It’s a shame as Pogba is a great player”.
