Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba has admitted it’s his dream to play for Real Madrid one day.
The France international, Paul Pogba contract at Manchester United expires in the summer and the club has not yet held talks with him over extending his contract at Old Trafford.
He said, “No one has told me anything. I have not spoken to United executive manager Ed Woodward. We haven’t spoken about a new deal”.
Although Pogba believes the club can activate the option of a further year until 2022. He said, “I think there will be a moment when the club will come and talk to me. And maybe offer something or not. So far, nothing has happened. I can’t tell you something that I don’t know”.
Questioned about the chances of a move to Madrid with whom he has been linked on a number of occasions, he responded, “all football players would love to play for Real Madrid. It is a dream for me. Why not one day?”
“I am in Manchester United and I love my club. I’m playing in Manchester and am having fun. I want to do everything to put the club where it deserves. I will give everything to the maximum like my team-mates”.
Meanwhile, United has had trouble since the beginning of the 2020/21 campaign. The club has won only one of their opening three league games.
Their last game before the international break saw them embarrassed by their former coach’s team, Tottenham Hotspur at home.
