Paris SG bought Alessandro Florenzi on a 1-year lease. Parisians also have the right of redemption of the defender after the lease.

Roma defender Alessandro Florenzi will continue his career at PSG.

The information was spread by the official website of the Paris Club. PSG have added Florenzi on a 1-year lease, after which they will be able to buy him out.

According to reports, PSG will pay Roma 500 thousand euros in the lease of Florence, while the redemption of the contract will cost the French 9 million euros.

“I am very proud and happy to have to wear a PSG shirt. Paris SG is one of the biggest clubs in Europe, as evidenced by the fact that PSG have reached the final of the UCL. I want to do my best and make the fans happy with my game.

We have serious goals this year, and it will be a great honor for me to play here. “One of the Worls’s best players is playing here,” Florence said.

The Parisian club was actively looking for a replacement for Thomas Meunier. Recall that the Belgian defender at the end of last season left Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent and moved to Borussia Dortmund to play.

Florenzi was not really the first target of the Parisians. The French champions wanted to add Hector Bellerin, Arsenal’s full-back, but could not find a common language with the Gunners.

Alessandro Florenzi has been competing in Rome since 2012. In 280 appearances for Giallorossi, the Italian right-back has scored 28 goals and provided 32 assists.
