Football fans are looking forward to the Dortmund – PSG clash with huge interest. The reason is that these two clubs have not played against each other recently. PSG are fancied to have too much firepower over two legs but lacking an excellent record on the road during the knockout rounds. But PSG Coach would probably settle for a draw in Germany.

Dortmund won 4 of their last six matches, lost one game, and one match ended in a draw, while PSG won 5 of their last six games, and one match ended in a draw.

In the Champions League this season, Borussia Dortmund have played at home three, won two, drawn one and lost no games. They have scored five goals and have conceded three. The top scorer for Borussia Dortmund is Erling Haaland, with eight goals.

For PSG coach – Thomas Tuchel, it will be an emotional return to former club Dortmund in the Champions League on February 18.

Paris Saint-Germain – Among the Favorites again!

The French Aristocrats and PSG Coach have been promising much but failing to quite deliver for a few years now. They are again among the favorites for outright glory after an impressive Group A showing.

PSG’s 3-0 triumph over Real Madrid was a statement of intent.

Paris Saint-Germain beat both Galatasaray and Club Brugge 6-0 on aggregate, although the opposition quality has to be taken into consideration.

However, this star-studded squad seems to be growing in stature all the time, especially with Neymar knuckling down again.

Only R. Lewandowski and Leo Messi scored more goals than potential superstar Kylian Mbappe in Europe’s top divisions in 2019, and he keeps developing even after turning 21.

Di Maria has re-discovered his mojo in midfield. As for Mauro Icardi’s brilliant form since he joined on loan from Inter has put him above Cavani in the pecking order upfront.

Borussia Dortmund – Solid, but less Spectacular

Dortmund were unbeaten when finishing four points behind Barcelona in Group F, without being too convincing, though.

Borussia started with a goalless stalemate against the Catalan giants, before beating Slavia Prague 2-1 and Inter Milan 3-2.

A 2-0 win in the Czech Republic assisted them in progress. But Inter Milan and Barcelona both beat them by two goals in those away fixtures.

Everything points towards Dortmund are solid but less spectacular.

RedBull Salzburg scoring machine Erling Haaland is a boost.

At the age of 19, the Norwegian still has space for progress and can fulfill his considerable potential.

Achraf Hakimi from Real Madrid has been a real find. Still, other key players, such as Axel Witsel, Thomas Delaney, Julian Brandt, Marco Reus, and Paco Alcacer, are just below the elite level.
