AS Monaco coach Niko Kovac claims that Paris Saint Germain remains the best team in the French League ahead of the Coupe finals.

Kovac takes on PSG for the third time this season as the two will meet in the Coupe de France finals. AS Monaco dominated the Parisian club in the league this season, earning all the 6 points. Despite this, Kovac insists PSG are still the best in their Ligue 1 books.

The Croatian tactician reveals that he is happy to return to Paris to take PSG in the final. However, he added that his goal was to guide his side to the top again.

“I am happy to come back to Paris and play this final against PSG which is a great team,” Kovac revealed.

“The goal was to bring Monaco back to the top and even win a trophy,” he added.

Despite the league’s dominance, Kovach states that Monaco will be Underdogs.

“We will be underdogs. The players want to continue to grow and go as high as possible. We must continue to dream,” Kovac said.

“PSG is still the best team in our league on paper. They have world-class players so I think we’ll be outsiders. It’s up to us to put in place what we know how to do and what we’ve been doing since the beginning of the season. To try to annoy them and win this game,” he explained.

Meanwhile, the French Ligue 1 disciplinary committee bans Neymar Jr. from the Coupe finals. This comes as sad news to the capita club and especially Neymar who reacts, “That deserves applause. What a mess.”

Neymar posted, “I would like to understand the reasoning of the guy who takes care of bookings in France!

“I play five minutes, I commit a foul and he gives me a yellow without even thinking.”

“Thank you for suspending me for the final.” Neymar added, “I think it was personal.”
