After serving at the Stamford Bridge for six seasons, the Brazilian midfielder had decided to join the Chinese Super League by signing for Jiangsu Suning back in 2016.
But with the season coming to an end in November, he’ll be returning to European football on a loan spell.
The Chinese side has settled a deal with Inter Milan. Ramires is set to start training with the Italian side as early as next month with the deal being finalized in January.
As pointed out by Corriere Dello Sport via Football Italia, Ramires is already in Europe training with his former team Chelsea, revitalizing and regaining full fitness from his injury back in October.
Since the same parent company owns inter Milan and Jiangsu Suning both the deal went through smoothly.
The Fallen Italian side is already in the market for a central midfielder and has been eyeing up Bayern Munich’s Arturo Vidal, but they are going to have stiff competition as well as a significant price tag to match.
However, the loan deal for Ramires has not yet been finalized, and Inter is having only one spot left for a non-European player. What is set to happen?
