Real Madrid is not going to give up on La Liga title hopes. It seems that Zinedine Zidane wants to put the pressure on Diego Simeone’s team until the end of the league season.

Game against Granada

Zidane decided to play with a very interesting line-up. Before that, we have to say a few words about the issues in the defensive line. First of all, Real Madrid has only four defenders fit and available for the games at this current moment. Keep in mind that six big names in the defensive line of Real Madrid are injured. Sergio Ramos, Raphael Varane, Marcelo, Dani Carvajal, Mendy and Lucas Vazquez are injured and can’t help the team. It means that the whole starting line-up defensive line is not available for Real Madrid for the rest of the season. It’s a tough lesson for Zinedine Zidane to change something in next season when it comes to physical conditions. Real Madrid officially registered 63 injuries this season which is the record for modern football.

The game against Granada was tough from the very first minute. In the press-conference, Zidane mentioned that Granada can play a good counter-attack game, so they started with the counter-attacks. After the aggressive attacks from Los Blancos, Granada has not stepped a lot on the side of the Whites. Real Madrid scored a first goal in the middle of the half. The second goal came soon from Rodrygo and the team took a big lead.

Eden Hazard is still playing

In the second half, we saw Eden Hazard’s performance. He was very active in the attacking line and got many blows in the legs from Granada’s players. Eden played everywhere in the attacking line and was controlling the pace of the match along with Spanish Isco. Keep in mind that Hazard assisted Odrioziola in the end of the game. Soon, the goalkeeper of Granada made a mistake and Karim Benzema converted that mistake into the goal
