Real Madrid played a away game against Elche yesterday night. Los Blancos could not keep the score-line until the end of the game. Unfortunately to Los Merengues fans, the team lost two important points although they had many chances to score.

The French coach changed the line-up. Before the game, Zidane said that there would be changes but no one expected Marcelo. Yes, Brazilian defender was in the starting line-up. Marcelo played a good match but there were many mistakes to be honest. In most cases, Elche was attacking from the side of Marcelo. Also, don’t’ forget that Karim Benzema was getting help from Vazquez and Asensio. Spanish attacking midfielders were doing really good until the second half when Zidane changed both of them.

Real Madrid won the first half. Los Blancos started the match with sharp attacks. Firstly, Marcelo went on one-on-one but could not score a goal. He shot the ball and it hit the goal post. In just a few minutes, a shot from Asensio hit the above goal post but there was Luka Modric. Croatian midfielder scored a beautiful header and gave a lead to Los Blancos. The Madrid team had a few more moments to score a goal in the first half but they missed all of them. In the second half, Elche scored a penalty and gave Elche fans hope. Real Madrid players had plenty of moments to take three points from Elche but they failed.
