It was an incredible week in the Champions League. We saw fourth-round matches, and some of those matches were mind-blowing.
Atletico Madrid struggles Again.
Bayer Leverkusen dominated Atletico in Germany. Madrid team could win the previous match in Spain but could not get one point in Germany.
Simeone lost touch on the style of the Madrid club. As it seems, the Argentinian coach can’t show the same results as he could do in previous seasons.
Atletico conceded two goals from Bayer Leverkusen but could score one on 95th minute. Bayer Leverkusen still has a chance to qualify for Champions League play-offs, but it will be very tough. Atletico Madrid has seven points, and it will be hard to top the Madrid club in two matches.
Incredible match from Tottenham’s Son
After a horrible injury accident in the Premier League, Son could not stop apologizing. Korean player helped Tottenham to score four goals. Forward scored two goals in four minutes, and overall, Tottenham took three points from Serbia.
Son apologized to Andre Gomes after scoring the first goal. Even during the after-match interview, the Korean player said that he is devastated and sorry for Andre’s injury.

It was funny to watch Atalanta and Manchester City clash. The city could score a goal in the first half, Sterling successfully dribbled through two defenders and scored a beautiful goal.
In the second half, Atalanta scored a goal and decided to take three points against Manchester City. Ederson got an injury on 46th minute, and Guardiola substituted Ederson for Claudio Bravo. On 78th minute, Bravo got a red card, and the City was left without goalkeepers. By that time, Kyle Walker was sitting on the bench and decided to become a hero.
England’s defender played 10 minutes as a goalkeeper and could save few tough shots from Italian players. Overall, Manchester City could take one point from Italy.
Rodrygo’s brilliant performance – a new star is born.
Real Madrid demolished Galatasaray and almost secured a place in the play-offs. Los Blancos scored six goals and have not conceded any from the Turkish club.
A new star was born at Bernabeu – Rodrygo Goes. Brazilian youngster scored “perfect hat-trick” and gave first assist in Champions League. Debut for 18 years old player was very successful.
Toni Kroos got another life in Real Madrid. The German midfielder is doing something different as he became very decisive for the Madrid side in the last few matches.
