Liverpool defender Andy Robertson reveals he will see himself playing for the Scottish giants if he cannot retire at Liverpool.

Robertson insists he is happy at the Reds and would love to retire at the club. Despite revealing his happiness, he claims Celtic has been in his heart and a move might be on the card. The veteran defender says only if he cannot see his career at the Merseyside he would end up in Scotland.

However, Robertson honestly reveals his desire to play for Scottish giant Celtic while he still has the energy to deliver.

“You know, I’d love to play for Celtic,” Robertson revealed.

He explains, “When I was growing up and I was a young boy I said I’d give my best years to Celtic. And I don’t want to go there when I’m old and I have all of my mates hating on me because I can’t perform the way I used to.”

He said that he’d love to retire at Liverpool, but if not, then he will hang his boots at Scottish side Celtic.

“I’d love to retire at this club, but if not I’d love to pull on a Celtic shirt. But I don’t want to be an old fart when I go up there. I want to still be able to play well. And if I can’t do that I will get my mates hating on me, that’s for sure,” the Scot added.

Meanwhile, in Italian Serie A, the Juventus Chief Football Officer announces that he is set to depart the club. The veteran administrator who joined the Old Lady in 2010 confirms he will end his 11-year tenure at Turin.
