Texas billionaire Dan Friedkin is buying Roma. As you may know, the previous owner, James Pallotta, was not liked in Rome. Friedkin plans to bring Totti and De Rossi back to the club.

There has been talk of selling Roma for a long time. The eight-year rule of the current owner, James Pallotta, is considered a failure in Rome. The team could not achieve tangible sporting success, has also seen huge financial losses, and there is disagreement within the club, which is caused by a conflict between the American owners and the local Italian management.

As a result of this conflict, Roma legends, Francesco Totti, and Daniele De Rossi left the club. As a result, fans are against the current owners.

James Pallotta has to sell the team to American billionaire Dan Friedkin. A pre-contract has been signed, part of the amount has been paid, and the sale process should finally be completed by Monday.

Friedkin is from Texas and is the largest distributor of Toyota in America. Friedkin’s son, who loves football, plans to live in Rome and run a club.

Pallotta had not been to Rome for years, running the club remotely. So, fans reprimanded him for the poor condition in Rome because of this.

Pallotta has already congratulated Friedkin and expressed his willingness to help with advice: “I am ready to give Friedkin advice so that he does not repeat my mistakes.”

According to the Italian press, Friedkin supports the return of Totti and De Rossi to the club and wants the fans to have a positive attitude towards him from the very beginning. Totti will return to management, while De Rossi is one of the coaching candidates.

For Roma, Friedkin paid 591 million euros, a large part of which will serve the club’s debts.
