Romania 1-2 Spain

As you may know, the Spanish team has a problem in the coaching room. Enrique left the job in June because of family problems. Unfortunately, Enrique’s daughter died a few days ago because of bone cancer.

Spain has a new coach – Moreno. The young coach has to show the world and prove that he is brilliant and creative. Romanian trip was the first game for Moreno as a coach of Spain. As the reports claimed, coach was going to rely on three attacking players. Rodrigo and Ceballos were playing on wings while Alcacer was a center forward.

During the pre-match press conference, Alcacer talked about the playing experience. Spanish forward said that if someone lacks playing time, it’s better to change a club. Alcacer was playing for Barcelona and had not enough time to be called for the national team. After a transfer to Dortmund, Alcacer is playing a massive role in the club, and the national team relies on his abilities also.

1st half of the game

1st part of the match was entirely in favor of Spain. Spanish footballers dominated the stadium and had eight shots on target. Despite eight chances, Spanish players could score only once in the first half, and it was from the penalty spot.

Ioan Deac brings down his opponent, and the referee sees the apparent fault – it’s clear penalty. Ramos went to a penalty spot and used this advantage successfully. Sergio got the yellow card right away because of celebrating a goal with full emotions.

2nd half the game

Alcacer scored a goal in the 47th minute, right after the beginning of the second half. Jordi Alba crossed a ball, and Alcacer just tapped the ball in the net. Romania soon scored one goal but could not fight for one point.
