Pedri has recovered from an injury

Ronald Koeman has revealed that Pedri has returned to training after a miraculous recovery from injury. And he could play for Barcelona in the Copa del Rey on Wednesday. The teenage midfielder went off with an injury to his left leg during the 2-0 win over Sevilla in La Liga on Saturday and left Ramón Sánchez-Pizgüen Stadium on crutches. Subsequent scans confirmed that Pedri had pulled a muscle. And he was expected to take at least a couple of weeks on the sidelines. But Koeman had already welcomed him back to his senior line-up. Speaking ahead of Barcelona’s Copa del Rey semi-final return match against Sevilla at Camp Nou midweek, Koeman told reporters about Pedri’s condition: “There are things that cannot be explained.”

Barcelona are in the LaLiga title race with Atletico Madrid

“Yesterday afternoon, I was surprised. Pedri did individual training, and today he had no problems. Let’s look at tomorrow’s training. I think he may be on the list”. Ronald Koeman’s side will aim to overturn the 2-0 deficit from the first match against Sevilla. Before their focus shifts back to La Liga. They are back in the title race and are now following leaders Atletico Madrid by just two points, albeit playing two more games. La Liga would likely be Barça’s best chance of securing silverware this season as they trail Paris Saint-Germain 4-1 after the first match of their Champions League last-16 clash. The return leg in the French capital is on March 10. And Pedri will almost certainly now face Mauricio Pochettino’s side after shaking off his knock.

In addition to that Champions League meeting, Barça must face Osasuna, Huesca and Real Sociedad in La Liga by the end of March.
